PARM.

What Production Asset and Resource Manager Line Standalone product · LiveStack AI Status Active beta, in a working facility Role Builder · product lead

One production. One accountable record. No shared pile of notes.

PARM brings scheduling, creative context, technical setup, routing references, and show accountability into one system for an entire production organization, while keeping role ownership clear. It is shaped by real production constraints and active user feedback, because I use it where I work.

The handoff.

  1. Admin Schedule and confirm

Coordinators create the production, manage conflicts, and will eventually assign the crew.

  2. Producer Add show context

Producer-side information gives the team the editorial and show-level context it needs.

  3. Director Define creative needs

Directors verify details, add notes, and identify camera and creative requirements.

  4. Engineering Translate into routes

Engineering records technical setup, sources, destinations, and facility-specific routing.

  5. Operator Execute from reference

Replay, graphics, AD, and similar roles use show-specific, read-only information without guessing.

Field use: DreamCatcher setup without the waiting.

Engineering documents camera and remote-feed sources, destinations, and routes in the production's facility reference. PARM surfaces that routing on the show's production card. During pre-production, I used the recorded route to configure DreamCatcher independently instead of waiting for or calling an engineer.

This does not replace engineering.

Engineering has already performed and documented the technical work. Operators use that reference read-only, and engineering stays responsible for the setup and available for exceptions.

Where it stands.

AdminActive

Scheduling, confirmations, double-booking overrides, production-detail changes, and batch edits work today.

DirectorActive

Production verification, director notes, and early camera-placement capability are live.

EngineeringActive

Technical and routing setup is live, with configuration surfaced as show-specific references.

OperatorRead-only by design

Replay, graphics, AD, and similar roles use the show-specific details they need as a reference.

Planned next: close the remaining handoff gaps.

  1. Freelancers Availability and operator portal

A clearer path for outside operators to share availability and access the right show information.

  2. Crew Assignment workflow

Admins will assign roles so everyone can see who owns replay, graphics, AD, and other stations.

  3. Planning Deeper show context

Expanded producer annotations and camera-placement planning, with role-specific edit permissions preserved.
